Students at Boronia Heights State School have many opportunities to participate in a range of extra curricular activities. These activities include sports, our award winning environmental club, and a selection of lunchtime clubs for our students to choose from.
Camps and excursions are also an important part of schooling and allows out students to experience life beyond the classroom and our families.
As part of some learning programs, students may go on an excursion to places of interest or incursions within the school.
- Excursions are planned events that classes attend off campus, and are utilised to enhance learning programs which occur in the classroom and are organised by year level teachers.
- Incursions are events organised by the school, where an outside body is employed to come into the school to run an educational activity for the students.
- All incursions and excursions require principal approval and are closely supervised by the class teachers. All students who wish to attend events require parental permission forms and payment to be submitted to the office by the due date.
All incursions and excursions correlate respectively to what the children are learning, and all students are encouraged to participate in these activities as they can provide an informative and engaging source of education, whilst being an enjoyable and fun activity for students to partake in.
